Dear Potential Sponsors, Merchants, Family and Friends,

On behalf of the Chico Blazin Heat Basketball Club, we would like to thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to consider our request for a donation or sponsorship of our girls and boys AAU basketball program.

The Chico Blazin Heat is starting our 4th successful year of co-operation, teaching and training boys and girls in the fundamentals of basketball. Currently we have some of the best basketball players in the area in our program. We are proud to have expanded from 1 team in 2003 to 8 teams in 2007. We have finally been able to add two girls teams this season. Unfortunately as we have expanded so has the cost to participate in and attend competitive basketball events.

The Chico Blazin Heat Basketball Club is committed to competitive, informative basketball training with a strong emphasis on personal discipline, team work and sportsmanship. We support our players in education with a G.P.A requirement, good citizenship, and a personal commitment to excellence.

It has been our experience that many talented youth are excluded from participating in this type of program because of the prohibitive cost of competitive traveling sports. A few years ago we established the Brevin Wilkerson Scholarship Fund. We offer one full or two partial scholarship(s) to each team, so that any youth that qualifies to be on one of our teams is not denied this opportunity based on financial hardship.

As a non profit youth organization we rely on support from dedicated companies and people such as you. We appreciate any kind of contribution to our program either monetary or goods and services. Donations will be used for the scholarship fund and to pay for equipment, practice facilities, tournament fees and also for travel and lodging expenses for coaches. The funds go directly to our program as our coaches, managers and mentors are non-paid dedicated volunteers.
